Why have a blog?

I have decided to create this blog because I am currently a second year student studying Journalism at Uclan and it aslo seems everyone these days has got one. I also feel it was about time I joined you fellow bloggers because it will allow me to communicate my thoughts on issues which are effecting the world we live in.
